Go to JJ with Wilson

We went to JJ yesterday. Mum and I plan to have mini steamboat at home so we have to buy some ingredients. Of course Wilson is very good boy shopping with us. He can see fish, prawn and vegetables when he was sitting in the trolley.

Rachel is very happy that I bought some "keropok" for her. I picked her up from daycare centre make her feel more happier. She told her teacher that mummy pick her up today and not po po.

New Car

I have make a booking on a new car on Monday late evening after work. Now I am waiting for the number plate from JPJ to turn to "AGN". Now it is still ending of "AGM 8XXX". They might release for selling either this Friday or next week.

What a big change of mindset?! Now, my mum will drive a new car (very soon) instead of 2nd hand (or 3rd hand) car to move around with my kids. This will be our 3rd car for hubby and me. Since my current car number is 6622 and my hubby car number is 6262 now I am considering buying the same number plate. So 1st choice will follow mine and 2nd choice will be follow hubby's number.

I have to wait for it since I am very choosy in having the same number. Last time hubby could not get the same number like mine. For those who buy lottery will understand it cos you just have to I-box the 6622 number and there are 6 types only. Then, this will include our 3 cars number. Luckily my new job have not yet start so at least I have time to wait for it.

J-Card Member's Day

Today is J-Card member's day and there is a great sale until 11pm. However, I don't have the chance to go there cos I have to work. If they send the invitation early then, I will definately plan for a day off. At night I didn't go to JJ cos it will be more crowded. Moreover, I have to accompany my princess to do homework.

But why Jusco didn't choose next Thursday instead of this week. If not I can enjoy more to go shopping then just sitting at home. Huh!

Donald & Daisy Stickers

I have bought a full page of Disney stickers. I kept inside my office drawer and afraid to take home until everything is complete by this Saturday. Today, I have borrowed the stickers to the cake shop. Yes, this time is for Wilson's birthday cake. I think lately we have so many cake drawing on Mickey and Minnie and is now time to change. I knew Wilson can pronounce "DUCK" very well. Also I think both Donald and Daisy are cute. We shall allow them on his birthday cake. We will wait and see the drawing on his cake this Saturday. I shall take a snap on the sticker too so we can compare it. Hope I didn't forget about it.

Many people like to eat Kingdom of Forest cake which Rachel had it last month. So since my aunt from my mother side wish to buy for my children, they have request to be the same. Last time the cake was too thick and difficult to cut so this time I have request them not to make so thick just make it normal. Since I don't have any helpers to cut it for me, so I have requested them to make it square.

Gurney Plaza

We went to Gurney Plaza for shopping after having dinner steamboat with my brothers. It was quite late so we just have 45min to walk around. I get 2 books for cookery cos there are having book fair. It was raining that night that is why my kids are wearing sweater.

Then, my kids are turning round and round follow the marbles decoration on the floor. They were so happy walk and run turning circle.

IKEA Shopping

My friend found a small trolley for my girl. At least she will not feel boring when we shop for long hours. My friend did a big help in looking after Rachel. Sometimes, I need to discuss with hubby when buying things and where to put it at home.

Buy 1 and Get 1 Free - Cakes

I received a brochure during lunch hour last Friday. This brochure is from Gold Vision and they are giving 2 days promotion in conjunction in their 9th Anniversary. So if you buy one and get another one free. They sell in 1/2kg or 1kg. They are selling many variety of cakes.

At first I plan to buy one sharing with my colleague. We will share out the cost and we choose together. Of course if the price is different we have to pay for the one which is more expensive and the cheaper one will be free. So we have to choose wisely on the flavour and price.

The cake shop was pack. Many people stand in front of the fridge to choose. So we must make up our mind fast. If not other people might get it first. The first cake I choose was "Chocolate Mint".

We visited my mother's brother and sisters family that night and have given the cake to them. I spend them cos my cousin did a very good result in SPM. Then, we don't have any cake to eat on Sunday morning.

So, I plan to buy another one and get another one free on early Sunday morning. I plan to eat one with my family and give some to my brothers. I choose 2 different flavour of 1/2 kg cakes that are "Black Forest" and "Mocha".

In the evening after discussion, my mum told me that she wants to give these 2 cakes to my brothers one each cos she wants to spend them. Hhmm good idea... early birthday celebration..!

Then, I have to go to buy another one cos I don't any cake to eat already. When I reached the cake shop, I saw not much choice if I choose 1/2kg cake. This time I decided to buy 1kg cos there are more choices. Thus, I choose "Cappuccino" and "Chocolate Moose". I'm thinking of giving one cake to my girl, Rachel to the daycare centre and eat with her friends and teachers.

OMG... what happened to my fridge? There are already 2 boxes of 1/2kg cake and now I buy 2 more boxes for 1 kg cake. Whoosh... lucky at that time hubby was about to pack his things going back to Penang. So the 2 small boxes of cakes put inside his car. We are very sure that my brother's fridge have enough space to keep these 2 boxes of cakes.

Besides me, many people also visited this cake shop to buy cakes. There is one lady who approach me whether we want to share it out... But I'm sorry to let her know that I need 2 cakes. So I just went off happily with my 2 boxes of cakes in the evening session while she was still standing there undecided and hoping that someone will walk in to agree to share with her.

More Presents

When we go for shopping we bought some toys as presents for our lovely kids. Surprisingly, Rachel want a doll. She learn and share to play doll at daycare centre. We bought Wilson a piano which is a musical story time. However, it looks like it is more suitable for Rachel. Thus, the next day we try to seek for a toy which is suitable for Wilson. Finally we found Winnie the Pooh playing drum for him. So both of them love those toys. But of course they have to promise to be good.

Dictionary Books

We have bought more new books for Rachel. This time is not colouring or writing books but dictionary with pictures. The best part are in 3 languages.

Sales - J Card Member's Day

This year Jusco (J card member's day) is a bit different from previous years. They are saving cost and not posting any letter with Jusco voucher to each customers. So maybe at the beginning not many people know about it. The member's day sales start from 22nd Feb until 2nd Mar 2008.

Actually it was informed to me from one of my colleague who station in Jusco. So this time instead of selecting one day using the voucher you can actually shop any day you like with unlimited times and day. Not a bad idea to increase sales. This will give those shopaholic people to shop for more and more!

So I have started my shopping on Friday night itself after hubby came home and had his dinner. We start to go shopping on the first day. Surprisingly not many people at Jusco. We went to the supermarket only. Since the sales are for more than a week so we can still shop anytime of the day. Hooray... such a good news!

The lion dance group walk around Jusco after their performance on stage. My kids follow them to see more closer look at the lion.

Hair Accessories

Tonight we decided to go to Tesco Xtra. There is one shop outlet selling hair accessories with "Sale" which has 50% discount for all items. Since I have not buy hair accessories yet, so we decide to choose some for Rachel. She can wear it during Chinese New Year and also going to school. I have choose and bought so many and I didn't count until I pay money. After discount all in the pic above cost me RM12.50. I will not buy that much if there is no discount. So it is a good buy at this shop!

Wilson & Rachel's Clothes

We shop our kids clothes lately and we separate 2 days to get them clothes. When we bring them along we only get half of their clothes. On the first day we managed to get a pair of 3/4 jeans trousers for Wilson. It is from Freedom House. As for Rachel we only managed to get her the blouse from Cartoon Network. We use the Bonus Link points to get them.

On the second day, hubby and I go for shopping without bringing both of our kids. They were taking their nap and my mother watch Astra at home. We managed to buy them the second half. We get a cotton shirt from KiKo for Wilson and a pair of long trousers also from Cartoon Network.

Hubby and I find that it is not easy too when buying clothes for them when they are not around cos can't let them try on. This year we do not want to spend much money on their clothing. Hubby's brother, sisters and mother too buy them clothing. So they have 4 pair of clothes from them exclude from us.

Decorations

We seldom buy yearly animation as decorations during Chinese New Year. But this year is exceptional cos year of mouse they are selling Mickey & Minnie mouse. Since my kids are Disney lovers so we decided to buy it. At first I decided to stick on the door. But then Rachel give me suggestion to stick on the wall behind the sofa. However, it will be very difficult to see. Finally we have make up our mind to stick it on the wall behind our LCD TV. This is the best place where we can see both Mickey & Minnie.

Ipoh Parade - Parkson Grand

We went to shop at Ipoh Parade today after lunch. Maybe this place is not as crowded as Jusco and Tesco. But we have went to these 2 places already. So is like no place to go today. I almost forgotten that I have to take a gift from Loreal counter which suppose to take after Christmas. We seldom go to this place cos nothing much to shop in term of groceries. We dislike Cold Storage the main reason is too expensive!

Also, I decided to ask hubby to check on the Bonus Link member card points at the customer service counter. It will be wasted if the points are expired. He managed to exchange RM30 voucher from the point So what are we waiting for... let us shop with the voucher yippee!

Don't be surprise I can still shop with such less money... I get a pair of jeans for Wilson from "Baby Freedom" and a blouse for Rachel from "Cartoon Network - The Power Puff Girls". Hubby need to add RM10 only. See both my kids are happy. I choose from those selected items with 50% discount. If not we have pay for the actual price which is double of it!

The Loreal sales representative told me that this coming Friday 18th Jan is Parkson Grand pre-sale day. So for those who have Bonus Link member card will enjoy points x5. Since that day is my off day so I might as well visit Parkson Grand again.

New Tumbler

I saw many Rachel's classmates bring their own water tumbler going to school and put on their desk. When, hubby reached home on Friday night we went to Tesco to buy it for Rachel. Same time we bought one for Wilson. Sooner he will go to a nursery. Maybe Rachel old nursery or a new one if there is a friend who can recommend me. I want him to learn Montessori nursery and not an ordinary nursery. Now whenever we go out for shopping she will definitely bring her new tumbler with her.

Christmas Decoration in KL

My dad love to take photo especially with his grandchildren. I can estimate he will take a photo with each different Christmas tree. There are so many Christmas trees decorated in KL shopping mall and in front of hotel. So he really take many photos. We went to Mid Valley shopping mall to take photos. This time we went there by KTM train. We went for a monorail ride and then change to KTM train to reach Mid Valley. My kids are very happy to have train ride this is not at fun fair but is a real train. But they ask me why no "chooga-chooga choo choo" sound?!

X'mas Presents

Today is the last day shopping using a special voucher given by Jusco. So we have shop for our lovely kids X'mas presents. About 1 1/2 month to go before X'mas. But we decide to shop early cos there will not be anymore big sale during X'mas. Moreover these special presents usually will not have any discount. So we have use this member's voucher wisely. Rachel saw me holding 2 big presents putting inside the car. She ask me what is inside? So I have told her that she has to wait until X'mas day then only she can put open the presents. So now temporary mummy hide inside the cabinet first. When we have set up the X'mas tree we will put under it.

Mickey & Minnie Mouse Sport Shoe

Super hot sport shoes from Disney world. Is original so the price is also very expensive. It cost RM89.90 before discount. The discount is only 25% not that much. But what to do we have to buy this Mickey sport shoe cos our son Wilson wear it and walk all by himself. It is so comfortable for him that he can walk without holding our hand. Then, Rachel jie jie also get a pair of Minnie sport shoe to wear it when she goes to school.

Shop at Queensbay Mall

This is our favourite place for shopping. We love this spacious shopping mall. Both my children enjoy themselves. We have our lunch at Nando's chicken. It was a heavy rain at Penang.
