Pitty You

Today is Good Friday. Ave Maria Kindergarten take one day off. However, the daycare centre operate half day. But for those working parents who wish to let their children stay till evening they have to pay extra RM5.

Mummy have to work half day today and can't pick her at 12pm. Mummy finish work at 1pm. Also mummy has to wait for those people to come to continue with the kitchen renovation. They said want to remove the steels and do measurement. But until now 3pm they have not yet arrived. Maybe due to heavy rain.

Pitty my little girl Rachel has to stay at daycare until evening. But never mind cos daddy will come back from S'pore tonight and she will get all presents. This will make her happy again.

Mummy has put some writing books into your school bag. Hope you can do writing if you doesn't want to take nap.

Annual Dinner Next Weekend

Busy... busy... busy... What's the hot topic now... It is about company annual dinner. Everyone is very excited about it and this is the hottest topic during our lunch hour. So during lunch most of my colleague will chit-chat about what to wear, hair-do, shoes, bags and blah, blah, blah!

I did not join the dinner last year cos my son was still a baby and he still need breastfeeding from me. He was about 8 months+. But this year I will be joining my other colleagues. So next week we will be going to KL to attend this annual dinner. It falls on Saturday which is 1st Mar 2008. The annual dinner will be held at the ballroom of Mandarin Oriental Hotel (same like last year). We will be staying at the Crown Princess Hotel. Just an over night stay. All are being pay by the company. For those from Sabah and Sarawak, they can take flight to KL which also pay by the company too. Not bad huh!

This annual dinner will include all the staffs from all over Malaysia. Since we have one branch at each state. We will be leaving in the afternoon after half day work on Saturday with other colleagues by rented shuttle bus.

I will miss my lovely 2 kids. Luckily my hubby and my mother are helping me to take care of them. So I can have my chance to attend it. I will be coming home on Sunday by myself in the morning. One of my KL friend will be sending me to Pudu Raya to take a bus home. I did not join my other colleagues coming back to Ipoh cos it will be late. They will start journey back to Ipoh after 3pm. I want to meet my hubby in Ipoh in the afternoon on Sunday before he go back to Penang in the late evening. Not to mention that I will miss Rachel and Wilson too ;-)

Chap Goh Mei

Today is Chap Goh Mei which is the 15th day of Chinese New Year. So fast time flies today is also the last day of Chinese New Year. It is also a Valentine's day for Chinese people who is still single.

The young unmarried lady will throw oranges into the river while the young man will collect the oranges. They will make wishes before throwing the oranges into the river. Of course they will write the name, address or maybe handphone number so that they can contact each other later of the day. They also hope and wish to find their future husband. This is the story tale from elder people.

But for nowadays, I'm not sure that there are many Chinese people practise this traditional method or not. Maybe it is just another method to dispose the extra oranges. Hahaha!

Happy Valentine's Day

Tomorrow which is Thursday is a lovely day where all couples, lovers, husbands & wives will celebrate a special day. It is Valentine's Day.

This year I have to celebrate this special day alone since my hubby work outstation now. What to do... have to earn more money cos have more commitments already! Not like last time during our dating time where other people will say drink water also never mind. But we always plan things wisely so a little sacrifice for today will give us and most of all our kids a brighter future next time in all aspects.

But the good news that hubby give me that he is taking annual leave on Friday which means he will be coming home after work on Valentine's Day. Not too bad huh at least we can be together at night. Late at night also never mind as long as the kids go to sleep. Hahaha... must sensor some info just in case other people know our plan!

We have dinner on Friday night that is why hubby is taking leave. Also the big day celebration for me which is on this Saturday. Oh no... I'm one year older already... it is my birthday... Both my kids especially Rachel started to learn singing the birthday song since few weeks ago. Let me think a list of wishes to make on this coming Saturday.

No Laptop

My hubby took the laptop with him yesterday night. Aiya no laptop can't online at night. Also can't update new post. He is going to ask my youngest brother to download something for him. At night very boring wor... have to watch TV.

A Snail

Even Rachel don't feel like going to nursery every morning but we keep on advise her to go there and learn more about colouring. She like colouring the most. She show this snail to me tonight. Since she like to cry this time she has to sit with the principal the whole day. She will not cry out loud but tears rolling from her face. This is the info my mother hear from the assistance teacher which Rachel like her the most.
Today the assistance teacher was told not too take care of Rachel since she is going to pull out end Nov. The principal told her to take care of other kids instead. She told my mother secretly this morning. Frankly speaking this sound like money making only. I was unaware that nowadays popular nursery is just target on $$$ only and don't care about others. I was being told by my mother this morning. I can't concentrate on my job but luckily I have a close blog friend who is my colleague to chat with me and make me think positive after a short chat. Whoosh I have to quickly clear up my mind and concentrate and can't be moody and emotional cos it will affect my performance at work.
Thank God that the assistance teacher told my mother secretly during afternoon that she will take care of Rachel and ask her not to be so worry. She told my mother that the principal is bad mood today after listening to phone call. Wait for my next update where I shall blast of her secret...@#%!

Goodbye Montessori Nursery

Finally, this afternoon during lunch hour I make a phone call to the nursery to inform that we are giving 1 mth notice. Rachel is going to pull out from nursery end Nov. This notice is more than 1 mth. If you read from my previous blog, you will feel surprise why Rachel didn't do any colouring work last week. After she was sick and return back to nursery everything turn up badly. She can't control her tears. She will cry whenever going there or doing her work. Then, she find difficult to cooperate. As a result the teachers will send her to rest room to sleep. Last week she sleep everyday in the rest room. I feel unhappy cos I'm paying for the fees and she ended up sleeping in the rest room. I received complaints too that she will give lots of excuse like sleepy, stomach pain, hungry, thirsty and tired. Also, distract other kids with her crying voice. I do feel frustrated cos they can't handle her well. More and more kids being enrol but I don't think the 3 teachers are enough to handle these kids. If they keep on focus on new kids and neglect existing kids sooner they will loose them too. Furthermore, one of the existing teacher is going to resign end of this month. So they are hiring a new teacher so not sure she is good or have experience to handle them. Feel lack of confidence already.
So on Tuesday, my mother accompany her and she chit-chat with another kid's mother in the rest room who mention that the principal mood is not so good this 2 weeks. She saw them asking Rachel to sleep in the rest room last week for few days. Sometimes is good to have feedback from other mothers cos we are not there everyday. That's why Rachel always come home and say she is scared to go to school. Other parents comment that she might be afraid to go to school next time if we push her too much. Is this true?
My working schedule is very tight before and after Raya. I can't take leave or off day to accompany her. So I decide to let her stop end Nov rather than end Dec. Actually I have enrol her to Ave Maria Kindergarten next year. I enrol her early this year after Chinese New Year. So let her have a rest in Dec. I'm not very sure whether I will change my mind or not. This Saturday, my mother and hubby will accompany her to Kinder music for trial class. Hope she will enjoy the class and like it too. Since it is free Wilson will join in the class for those under 18 mths.
