I'm Too Shy

Wilson was only wearing drypers. He is still not yet potty train. He is going to be 2 years old next month. Photos are being snap by Kow Fu using handphone. Then, he sent thru e-mail to me. I think he looks cute.

Sing Song

Rachel was very happy after came home from music class tonight. We were waiting for Kow Fu to reach home from his dinner. Yes, she wanted to sing him birthday song in English and Chinese thru the webcam. She even blow the candle which wet up the laptop screen. Then, her Kow Fu blow the candle and cut the cake.

She asked him to eat and put little bit in her mouth! How to do it?! Hiya this little girl can't wait to eat cake. She loves eating cake. She has to wait until her daddy's turn which is very soon.

School Holidays For 2 Weeks

Yahoo... for my girl Rachel. The teachers have told her that holidays no need to go to school for 2 weeks.

But she will be going to daycare centre for half day only. I have prepared books for her to do writting at daycare centre. At least she can do dotted lines writting for those alphabet and numbers which she is going to learn for next term.

Happy Birthday to Kow Fu

Tomorrow Monday is Rachel and Wilson big Kow Fu's birthday. We bought him a small cake as a gift. He like chocolate a lot. So, I have choose Chocolate Banana Paradise cake for him. The decoration look nice and cute too.

Hubby bring home the cake tonight. Since he wants to cut it tomorrow so he put into the fridge. We will on line tomorrow night after Rachel come home from music class. Let her sing him "Happy Birthday Song" in English and Chinese. We can use the web cam now.

Hope he will like the cake. This cake taste good when it is chilled.

Fun Time

Wilson is playing on a small stage with so many ballons decorations. But why he is alone? Where is Rachel? She was busy eating ice-cream sitting on the trolley. Wilson enjoy himself while I'm busy taking as many photos for him.

Cousin's Birthday

The birthday party was fun. My kids enjoy playing with other cousins and friends. The birthday cake was marble butter cake order from Nancy Chong. I heard from one of my SIL told me that she is very famous in baking cakes.

I don't like butter taste and the thick smell. The decoration is very nice. The icing is make from icing sugar. I think I prefer modern cakes which use fresh cream.

Wilson is not co-operate in taking photo with his grandmother. That's why can't take nice photo.

Birthday Invitation by SIL

My SIL has invite us for her daughter birthday party at her house in Menglembu area this Saturday night. There will be more birthday party to come when my kids cousin organise it. Actually it is fun to have birthday party for kids. So at least they will have something to look for beside CNY and Christmas party. Parents will take the opportunity as a family gathering. She is going to cook most of the food by herself.

I went for shopping yesterday evening to prepare the present for her. She is just 11 years old so have to find things that suit her age. I'm not free to shop on Saturday cos I have to work whole day. Hubby will have to service his car. That's why we can't go for shopping much on this weekend.

My SIL love the cake that I order for Rachel. She wanted to know the shop and the cake flavour. She is planning to order a birthday cake too.

3rd Day Exam - Friday

On the last day of school for this term is this Friday which is also the last day of Rachel exam. It will be on BM. So the teachers will test them on the small alphabets from a-m.

Then, they will be off for school holidays for 2 weeks.

2nd Day Exam

I have let Rachel practised on the English and Maths yesterday night. For English the exam will be on capital alphabets from A-M as for Maths the numbers are from 1-5.

Exam Starts Today

Today is the first day of Mid Year Exam. So, I have let Rachel write the Chinese characters yesterday night. This afternoon the exam is on Bahasa Cina.

So I would like to wish her "Good Luck" in her exam!

Teacher's Day Celebration

Rachel went to kindergarten in the morning session yesterday. The teachers have combined both morning and afternoon session to celebrate teacher's day. Kids are given sweets and jelly. They are allowed to play and enjoy for only 2 hours. The kindergarten operate from 9-11 am yesterday.

Then, the daycare teacher pick them up. She had her lunch and bath at daycare centre. For afternoon session, all kids are told to take nap. My little girl doesn't want to join them but insist to do homework until her po po pick her up in the evening.

I have provide her with a few pages of "ABC" writing. She is more independent now.

Next Plan

I choose to celebrate Rachel birthday on the Chinese date cos we are going for vacation. I am taking 5 days annual leave together with 3 off days and a public holiday to go to Penang for a week and 3 days and 2 nights trip to Langkawi.

After coming back from our vacation trip I shall plan for Wilson's birthday. The date I choose also can celebrate Father's Day and my hubby Chinese b'day. So next plan will be 3 in 1 celebration. I have already choose the restaurant which is very new and near my condo for convience purposes.

I'm only thinking of the cake which I might choose number "2" for my boy. Also I have to check out internet and sticker book to find cartoon pictures as well.

Rachel is very generous cos she allow Mickey on her birthday cake. Cos she know well that her brother like Mickey. So at least she don't mind sharing the cartoon on her birthday cake. I hope I can choose a pair of picture on Wilson b'day cake too. I still have not yet decide whether Mickey & Minnie or maybe a change to Donald and Daisy.

I Blow, Blow and Blow 4 Candles

Everyone is very cooperative to sing a very loud birthday song for my girl Rachel in English. But I have forgotten to ask her to sing in Mandarin for everyone. She learnt the Chinese version in the kindergarten. They will sing usually sing birthday song in both language in the classroom. So I better keep it into memory when Wilson's turn. We request Rachel to sing it in Mandarin.

Everyone laugh at her cos she take a long time to blow off all the 4 candles. I saw she can stand up on the high chair and able to sing the birthday song with clapping hands. Yes, she did enjoyed her birthday party on that night. She also remind me to give Wilson a birthday party.

I didn't stand beside Rachel while they are singing the happy birthday song. I was at the other end asking for my aunties who bought this big and lovely cake to come out to see the cake and join along. However, they didn't wait for me to stand back next to my girl to begin with the song. But I did sing for her and wave at her. It was very crowded at that time!

Kingdom of Forest Cake Taste Really Good

Wilson Boy: Hhmm... I just can't stop eating Rachel jie jie's birthday cake. It is black forest cake.

Wilson eat until the plate is very clean. Taste good!

Wilson Boy: I really hope somebody can see me and give me one more slice please!

Rachel Birthday Cake

The birthday cake is very beautiful drawn with Mickey and Minnie. However, the camera man who snap this photo is too lazy to turn the table before snap a photo. He took it up side down. When I rotate it the angel is not that nice.

Giant Minnie Mouse

We went to Parkson for shopping. My girl Rachel show me a big minnie mouse. Therefore, I quickly snap a photo for her.

Disney Picture Shirt

We bought both of them the Disney shirt and let them wear to their grandmother's birthday party. Red for my girl Rachel and blue for my boy Wilson.

Nice Hair

We seldom tie hair for Rachel on Saturday. She just spend not more than 4 hrs at daycare centre only. So when I picked her up her hair was tied nicely by the daycare centre's teacher.

Celebrate MIL B'day & Mother's Day

We celebrated mother's day together with my kids grandmother's birthday. It was my MIL b'day so we celebrated with BIL family, SIL family and their uncle family. One big butter marble cake was for MIL order by SIL and another blueberry cake was for all the mothers in the party order by uncle family.

This year my MIL is very lucky that she hit the biggest lottery ever in her life. So instead of we share out the money for the dinner she spend all of us.

Party at Kindergarten

I have called up the headmistress of the kindergarten. This year Rachel class has 39 students. She told me that this is the biggest intake ever happened in their history. So she allocate 2 class teachers for them.

Sometimes, I saw Rachel bringing gift home from kindergarten. So the teacher advised me not to buy cake cos it will be very messy for 4 yrs old students. She advised to pack dry food. So I have already packed 39 pkt which content of 1 pkt of chocolate teddy bear biscuits, 1 balloon, 1 big lollipop and 1 Mickey and Minnie chocolate wafer biscuit. All she wish for is just a lollipop to be given to her friends and everyone will sing her a birthday song.

This big bag will be send to her kindergarten this coming Friday and also in conjunction with Teacher's Day.

Birthday Party Plan

I'm quite busy planning a birthday party for her next week. Since there are limited seats so we can't afford to invite all friends. I also get some hints from Rachel what to draw on the birthday cake.

This year, my mother's family side wish to buy her a cake. It is not that cheap to buy a big and huge cake now due to price increase. But I do mention that she wants a cartoon drawing on the birthday cake. They are so generous to say okay as long as she like it. Since we are already bored with ordinary flavour sponge cake so this time we order "Kingdom of Forest" cake for her. Rachel want Minnie and Mickey head on her birthday cake. She only wants their head not even body and etc. So it's quite funny and not much to decorate on it.

I have discuss with the cake shop so they will decorate with colourful balloons and etc. Since Minnie has a ribbon on her head so I suggest Mickey to wear a magic hat. At least not just a plain 2 heads. They hope that I can get poster, sticker or some photo to refer.

Then, I just found a contest form from a shop which has Minnie and Mickey. So I quickly tear of 2 pages of the contest form and give to the cake shop to follow it. They feel more happy cos just follow from the poster would be much more easier. I brought home 1 contest form to show it to Rachel and finally she like it.

Now, I really hope the expert can really draw a nice Minnie and Mickey from this poster. It cost us another RM10 for the drawing. We only want Minnie and Mickey which seat in the front of the roller coaster. It is not easy to find such a nice poster on the contest form. So let us wait on her birthday party to see what is on the actual birthday cake.

Happy Mother's Day

Rachel gave me a surprised gift. She make it at the kindergarten. What a lovely gift I received from her. Not to mention that she gave me a hug and kiss too. The rose is made from a handkerchief. So children are being taught to make something for mother in kindergarten. This is the first gift which I received hand made from her.
