Middle Year Exam Year 2008 Noticed

I used to check Rachel school bag every night to see any homework. But I didn't see any memo from teacher except an envelope to ask us to pay for the May fees from Daycare Centre. After finished all the homework I packed all the books into her bag. She can watch TV or DVD. Suddenly she run inside the room take her school bag out and give a book with a memo from teacher. She told me that teacher ask mummy to read this memo.

Now I know why Daycare Centre give them revision. She is going to have her exam soon. I told her then she has to practise more on the letter writting, recognise the word and picture and also calculation.

Oh dear my 4 years old girl have to sit for exam next month!

Revision

In the morning when Rachel reached Daycare Centre, the teachers will give them revision or tuition for them. Usually they will let her do more on writting. But now, lately I saw them giving her questions to do. They will draw in the excercise book and let them either fill in the blanks, match the pictures, circle for the correct answer and etc.

This is a challenging work for a little girl of 4 years old.

Received Letter

I am very happy cos my name is in the promotion list which circulated on Monday morning. Yesterday morning another happy news is to receive the promotion letter from the Branch Manager. Yes, I am very happy of being upgraded cos I only work in this company for 1 year. The salary revised is a bit low cos I am expecting of 10% but I only received slightly less than this percentage.

But it is better than the normal increment for this year which is 6% which is more than previous year which was 5.7%.

Can have more money to save or spend!

Air Ballons

We went to most crowded Pasar Malam last Friday. It is situated in First Garden area. My kids saw a lady selling air ballons and of course Rachel is the 1st one who ask us to buy for her. She did her homeworks very well lately and getting more hardworking. So we decided to buy it for her. I was so shock that Wilson was making loud noise to get my attention cos he wish to have one.

So I bought 2 air ballons. But these 2 costly ballons do not last long.

Pitty to My Boy

Wilson knock his head 2 weeks ago. He accidentally knocked on edge of my bed in the master bedroom. On the same night, hubby boiled one hard boil egg for my mum to rolled it over his head. But unfortunately, the egg was not 100% cooked. So it was to soft to roll on it. The next day I decided to boil an egg to do it again. But this time my mum choose the handkerchief which is too thin. The egg was very hot and make a burn sign on his forehead.

His forehead is recovering now. We apply Johnson's lotion for him. The dry skin has been removed without scar. Now let the skin grow it back.

Posing for Photo Session

This early in the morning I took photos for Rachel before going to work. My mum tied her hair and make look so cute. When I took out the camera she is posing in front of me. I wonder why her hands are up beside her face. My mum told me that, she might learned from her friends in the kindergarten. Looks cute!

Back at Home from Cameron Highlands

We came home on Sunday evening. While we are busy repacked our things my kids were very happy at one corner. I quickly snap their photos. This was the first time I saw them sharring their seat. See what are in their hands? Yes, it is a pencil with a strawberry on top with some small bells. Both of them like it very much.

Trip to Cameron Highlands

I was sick with sore throat and flu last week. But yet I managed to recover and go on vacation again. I have book this very early to make sure I get the room. My hubby bring my kids and my mum go to Cameron Highlands. This year this is our first trip. We enjoy ourselves. Every time we reached there it will rain in the evening to add more cold environment.

We love to shop and eat those food over up there. We will go to a restaurant at Bukit Raja which is the first stop when we reached there. We like the special dish like curry fish head, and veg fry with garlic. There is one type veg where the called it "Loong So" which only can get it here. Taste good.

In the evening we will go to the Pasar Malam in front of the Police Station to buy some local things. The hawkers' food taste good. We can find fried kuay teow, laksa, and choa koay for Chinese food. As for Malay food there are so many variety of deep fried food and we like kuih, kacang kuda, apam balik thin and thick (Tai Kow Min), Malay dishes like ayam masak merah, rendang, curry and etc.

Other than food we can get vegetables, souvenir, clothing and etc at the Pasar Malam. The price will be cheaper compare to the morning selling place which target more to tourists.

We stay in Heritage Hotel in Cameron Highland for one night at Tanah Rata. There is a Pasar Tani near the hotel which is in front of Convent School (hill top). We can find fruits, local things, veg, fishes, chickens and etc. The prices are very cheap and most people buying things are local people.

We seldom visit tea plantation and other tourist farm or places cos this is not the first trip. We just want to enjoy a peaceful vacation and cold breeze only.

Easter Egg from London

This is how an Easter egg look like... My mum put it into the freezer cos it was almost melt. Now back to the oval shape! It is very big. Wilson doesn't want to hold it cos it cold. What is inside? Of course is chocolate... Yummy!

Visit to Furniture Shop

We went to a furniture shop last weekend which is just opposite JJ. This is our first time went inside this double storey shop. We are surprised to see Rachel get attracted to a double decker bed which is suitable for children. Then, she told me that this bed have top and bottom. So I asked her if there is one at home who will sleep at the top and who is at the bottom. She told me that she wants the bed on top. Then, I ask her who sleep at the bottom bed. Then, she told me that she will give it to Wilson.

She even pulled Wilson, near to the bed and told him about it. It was just like a promise. Rachel at the top bed and Wilson at the bottom. However, we didn't buy the bed. Not at this time. Wait until mummy and daddy declare to put them into separate room.

Tonight, I was shocked to see Wilson go under his bed and lying down on the floor. He pretend to sleep with a loud snoring sound. When, we saw him, he give a big laugh. I quickly took out the camera and take a few snaps.

His action shows that he understand what Rachel told him the other day. So just to practise that he crawl and sleep under his bed. I even throw his beloved pillow to him!

Fishing Time

Wilson fell down near our bed in master bedroom. We roll an hard boil egg on his head. Now it started to dry. We apply Johnson's baby lotion for him.

When, Rachel is doing homework at night, we have to give Wilson occupy with some games. Recently we teach him to go fishing. This can actually test his patient. Also, to see he can follow the technique we teach him. Sometimes, he can catch the fish but sometimes he can't do it, Also, he must use the fishing rod without helping from hands.

Bubble Bath

Wilson enjoying playing water during bubble bath time. Warm water with bubbles which is more better than swimming pool.

Gift from London

My cousin's Natalie bought us a box of cookies. One of my uncle went to London for business trip and brought it back to us. Besides us, other relatives also received her gift. She is so kind hearted. She work part time at Mark & Spencer while she is still in college. She is very hardworking. I wish her all the best in her study. We miss staying with her in London. Hope we can go shopping again. Hhmm... of course she is very good in shopping too. Since her parents house in just in London city so it is very convenient. Opps, yes, another gift from her mum is an "Easter Egg". It is a very big one which I forget to take a photo of it.

I Love My Baby Bolster

Rachel want to show off that how she wants to hug her baby bolster. We have washed and changed the bolster for her for many times. But she still like small size bolster even though we bought her a longer one which is suitable for her size. Actually the small bolster has good advantage. She can take it along and this is her habit to take into the car. Luckily she did not take it out from the car but just put it inside the car.

One morning which is on Tuesday, she accidentally took this bolster out from the car. At that time, we are sending her to the daycare centre. I was so busy to take her school bag and travel bag (for clothes) from the car and did not notice it until the teacher ask her why she is holding her bolster. Hiya... she feel shy and quickly give it back to me and put it inside the car. The teacher laugh and say it must be the baby bolster she like it so much! From that day, she always remember to put it inside the car.

We Like Sitting Side By Side

We will only sit together when we watch Barney VCD together. Both of them are very focus on the TV.

Brush My Teeth

Wilson getting more independent and he can brush his teeth. He likes to see how Rachel and po po brush their teeth. He can do it by himself. But we need to monitor him. He will learn how to brush his tounge too.

In order to save time early in the morning he will pooh pooh and brush his teeth immediately. We have to rush in the morning cos I have to go to work before 9am. As for Rachel she can go to daycare centre anytime eventhough a little bit late.

Play Land at IKEA

After finish shopping at IKEA, we have lunch and Rachel can played at the play land. I didn't know that they are charging per hour. Then, just for 10 minutes we leaved the place. My friend informed the worker that we are leaving and so they do not charge us.

After playing Rachel was too tired and she took a long nap on her daddy's shoulder. As for me and my friend we went for shopping. I bought a new pillow for Wilson as a gift. He has too many toys and clothes so buying a pillow for him was just a perfect gift. Do you know what he called his pillow...? Is... BABY!

IKEA Shopping

My friend found a small trolley for my girl. At least she will not feel boring when we shop for long hours. My friend did a big help in looking after Rachel. Sometimes, I need to discuss with hubby when buying things and where to put it at home.

One Day Trip to KL

We went to KL last Saturday just a one day trip by bus. We took the earliest bus that was 6.30 am from Plusliner. We wanted to go to IKEA for shopping. Actually we planned to go there for 2 persons only (hubby and myself). But we try to take Rachel along if she can wake up early. Yahoo... she did followed us on that morning!

My friend pick us up at Pudu Raya and we went for breakfast cos we reached there at 9am. After that, we go to IKEA for shopping. We bought lamp, kitchen utensils and many other things.

Tea Party

We have tea party at home for Rachel and Wilson when my dad came home. Since we have a cake, so both my kids are having lots of fun enjoying themselves. Actually it was nobody birthday. However, both of them enjoy singing the birthday song and blowing the candle.

Barney "The End"

After finished homework (writing) tonight, Rachel will drink milk. Then, she can join Wilson to watch Barney VCD before going to bed. They love to watch this VCD recently cos is a concert from New York.

So far, they have not yet feel boring with this VCD. I try to stand in front of them to take their photos. But Wilson think that I'm blocking his view. It was almost end of the show. They say "the end".

Wilson is crawling away from me... Mummy you are blocking... Cannot see Barney!
