Buy 1 and Get 1 Free - Cakes

I received a brochure during lunch hour last Friday. This brochure is from Gold Vision and they are giving 2 days promotion in conjunction in their 9th Anniversary. So if you buy one and get another one free. They sell in 1/2kg or 1kg. They are selling many variety of cakes.

At first I plan to buy one sharing with my colleague. We will share out the cost and we choose together. Of course if the price is different we have to pay for the one which is more expensive and the cheaper one will be free. So we have to choose wisely on the flavour and price.

The cake shop was pack. Many people stand in front of the fridge to choose. So we must make up our mind fast. If not other people might get it first. The first cake I choose was "Chocolate Mint".

We visited my mother's brother and sisters family that night and have given the cake to them. I spend them cos my cousin did a very good result in SPM. Then, we don't have any cake to eat on Sunday morning.

So, I plan to buy another one and get another one free on early Sunday morning. I plan to eat one with my family and give some to my brothers. I choose 2 different flavour of 1/2 kg cakes that are "Black Forest" and "Mocha".

In the evening after discussion, my mum told me that she wants to give these 2 cakes to my brothers one each cos she wants to spend them. Hhmm good idea... early birthday celebration..!

Then, I have to go to buy another one cos I don't any cake to eat already. When I reached the cake shop, I saw not much choice if I choose 1/2kg cake. This time I decided to buy 1kg cos there are more choices. Thus, I choose "Cappuccino" and "Chocolate Moose". I'm thinking of giving one cake to my girl, Rachel to the daycare centre and eat with her friends and teachers.

OMG... what happened to my fridge? There are already 2 boxes of 1/2kg cake and now I buy 2 more boxes for 1 kg cake. Whoosh... lucky at that time hubby was about to pack his things going back to Penang. So the 2 small boxes of cakes put inside his car. We are very sure that my brother's fridge have enough space to keep these 2 boxes of cakes.

Besides me, many people also visited this cake shop to buy cakes. There is one lady who approach me whether we want to share it out... But I'm sorry to let her know that I need 2 cakes. So I just went off happily with my 2 boxes of cakes in the evening session while she was still standing there undecided and hoping that someone will walk in to agree to share with her.

I Am Barney's Fans

My aunt gave me many Barney's CD. All these CDs belong her daughters. Since they have grown up and do not watch it anymore so she gave them to my kids. At this age my kids are Barney's fans. Recently my mum turn on the CD of "Barney's in New York" for concert and my son, Wilson will scream to cheer it.

Why I'm Happy?

Today is a happy day for me. Most of my colleagues have check in their bank account early this morning except me. Today is our company "BONUS DAY" and this is for the 2nd part of the year. Each of us received different amount of bonus and it all depends on the evaluation and individual performance.

If you read my previous blog you will know this is the 2nd time which I received my bonus. The 1st was before Hari Raya.

I'm happy and satisfied with what I received today. I would like to thank to my dear hubby who give me support, my parents, my children and my friends. It is not easy to stop working for 3 years and now I came back to work for more than 1 year. I do face difficulty in starting back my cold engine and to learn new things again. But luckily that my tertiary education of the Bachelor in Commerce in Finance & Marketing do a big help for me. I have no regret in choosing double major instead of focus in one major only.

It is true that do not put all eggs in one basket! Maybe this will allow me to share more with my children next time. I still remembered when I was in Form 4 that, my class is the only class in the school which the students took pure Science plus additional 1 art subject which is the most important one that is Accounting. So it was not a surprise for us to switch from pure Science to Economy class.

How to use a new hand phone?

I'm happy to received a new Sonny Ericsson's hand phone from hubby as a surprised gift. However, I have to learn how to use all the functions. I have not use a camera hand phone and now I have the chance to use it.

I'm quite busy learning how to use it. At the same time my colleagues do send some music to save inside my hand phone. I'm happy and thanks to them. I'm keeping the manual book in my hand bag just in case I can refer to it whenever I might need it.

Hubby did get a good price for this hand phone model buying from S'pore. I'm happy to receive it as a surprised gift. Thank you my dear hubby!

More Presents

When we go for shopping we bought some toys as presents for our lovely kids. Surprisingly, Rachel want a doll. She learn and share to play doll at daycare centre. We bought Wilson a piano which is a musical story time. However, it looks like it is more suitable for Rachel. Thus, the next day we try to seek for a toy which is suitable for Wilson. Finally we found Winnie the Pooh playing drum for him. So both of them love those toys. But of course they have to promise to be good.

Rachel Miss Wilson

Rachel miss her brother so much and she can't wait to play with him. Yes, they received a special toy from daddy. They called "Chip and Dale" from Disney cartoon animation. Mummy have not yet take photos of those 2. But both of them do love it and laugh at it.

We Miss U

Hubby came home savely on Friday night. Rachel accompany to pick him up even it was 11pm. The bus was all the way from KLIA to Bercham. We didn't sleep when we reached home but we do lots of chit-chat.

Wow, this time hubby get influence to be a successful shopping dad. Why? We get tonnes of presents. My kids do get a few sets of clothes. Rachel get one extra present that is magnetic numbers puzzles from Thomas & Friends. She can recognised it from the Astro Ch 613.

What else did hubby buy? I'm so surprised I do get a few sets of clothes most of them from "Fila". Also the most expensive one I get this time is a hand phone with camera. I guess hubby can read up my mind even though I didn't mention it to him. It is from Sony Ericsson. Beside this I do get a perfume. Hubby told me that this perfume is limited edition cos they give a manicure of the big bottle.

Both my parents get also get presents. My dad get a colar shirt and my mum get a blouse. As for my brothers, this time hubby bought many variety of chocolates. So I have special pack for them.

Colour your own Ferrari

My mum told me that they give paper printed with Ferrari for children to colour it. They also provide colour pencils. My son learn how to hold the colour pencils. But I think if Rachel was there she can enjoy more cos she can colour well.

Lin Yung Pao

My brothers bring Wilson to eat dim sum with my parents too. His favourite food at dim sum usually is the "Lin Yung Pao". He can eat at least 2 pao. They bring him to Max Gourmet which is opposite Queens Bay Mall.

Pitty You

Today is Good Friday. Ave Maria Kindergarten take one day off. However, the daycare centre operate half day. But for those working parents who wish to let their children stay till evening they have to pay extra RM5.

Mummy have to work half day today and can't pick her at 12pm. Mummy finish work at 1pm. Also mummy has to wait for those people to come to continue with the kitchen renovation. They said want to remove the steels and do measurement. But until now 3pm they have not yet arrived. Maybe due to heavy rain.

Pitty my little girl Rachel has to stay at daycare until evening. But never mind cos daddy will come back from S'pore tonight and she will get all presents. This will make her happy again.

Mummy has put some writing books into your school bag. Hope you can do writing if you doesn't want to take nap.

Wilson is in Penang with his kow fu. So they bring him around. I think he enjoy himself too. So he e-mail me some of his photos since his new hp can take photos. Maybe I should send a proposal to my hubby on upgrading hp. The photos are not that sharp compare to digital camera but it has good function.

Look at Wilson's photos. They bring him to KFC near Bukit Lanchang market. Remind me the laksa and the pasembor are so tasty selling in the market. I think my parents will enjoy more on the food.

Lunch at Ipoh Swimming Club

I was so happy thinking of the set lunch. But what a sad news that they don't offer set lunch on Public Holiday. I saw the set lunch menu for today is grilled fish, mushroom soup, desert and coffee or tea.

So I have to choose normal orders from menu. I'm thinking that Rachel might want to share noodles with me so I have order Wat Tan Hor. But she didn't eat at all. She wants sausages. I dare not order 2 sausages at one time. Previously she has her daddy or grandpa can help her finish. So I order one at a time.

She manage to eat 2 sausages for lunch. But the last bite it take her so long to swallow. I told her that if she didn't swallow it, the waiter will say no ice-cream for you. When she swallow it only I order 1 scoop of ice-cream for her. The waiter give her choose whether vanila, strawberry or chocolate. She wants strawberry ice-cream. When, finished eating the ice-cream she wants to eat chocolate ice-cream. But I told her she cannot eat so much ice-cream on one day. She says "I have eat 2 sausages so I must eat 2 ice-cream. Also, lau shi (teacher) says can eat 2".

I told her lets go for playground. Wow, so quickly she stand up. However, another disappointment cos everything are still wet cos rain yesterday evening until this early morning. So why not we just go home and let her take her nap. In the evening we can go playground at the club house. Lucky she agreed with me. But before we leave the playground at Ipoh Swimming Club, we saw a squirrel climbing up and down from tree to tree. We are so excited but forget to take photo.

I Miss Wilson, Po Po & Grandpa

Mummy: What do you want to eat for lunch?

Rachel: I want to eat noodles. Yesterday place... Jusco can or not?

Mummy: We go to Ipoh Swimming Club... (I'm thinking of those delicious set lunch).

Rachel: Pls sit at that big table... Grandpa, Po Po and Wilson also sit here that day...

Mummy: But 2 persons they don't allow to sit big table... Huh you miss them izzit?

Rachel: Are we going to fetch them... After eating food? I want my boy boy to come back... Why my boy boy have not yet come back? Why? I want to wait for my boy boy come back only I eat can or not? Afterwards, my boy boy don't have anything to eat already!

Mummy: Let's eat first, then, we can go sit swing, slide, see-saw and others okay... If you can finish this one sausage, I will order one more for you...

Rachel: Okay... next time I want to take boy boy, grandpa and po po come her and eat with me!

Go JJ for Dinner

When, those workers leave around 4pm, I quickly cleaned up the floor. I have to pick up Rachel early cos it was still rainning. I have to drive into the daycare centre so she will not get wet.

Then, straight away I drove to JJ and have early dinner. I picked her up at 5pm. I parked upstair with no problem cos I'm driving hubby's car. It is better to get auto car than manual. But if we have both we don't have problem in the future.

We went to Sushi King to have food. I order fish soba with soup for Rachel and garlic fried rice for myself. Also hot ocha that's my favourite drink. I didn't take sushi cos nobody to share with me. Also Rachel only like to eat noodle. But I do love those "Green Wasabi". I was too hungry and have eaten the fish before take a photo. I only eat bread for lunch cos I have stand by in my place.

As for desert she bring me to McDonald. One ice-cream cone for her. Yummy... she finish the ice-cream.

We walk around. At first I want to go to supermarket but at the entrance she says she want lolipop then, I bring her go other places. I let her sit on the horses together with other people. But unfortunately nobody want to put coin inside. So sitting on the horse is for photo taking only.

Wear Jacket

Wilson getting smaller. A new one is too big and thick for him. It is better to use Rachel jie jie's jacket with a cover for the head. This jacket is very special cos mummy bought it from Hong Kong. That time Wilson is not in this world yet and also Rachel jie jie was only 14 months old+. After the trip from Hong Kong mummy only conceived Wilson's boy.

Wilson: How do I look, mummy? With the cover on my head and without the cover?

If no butterfly and flowers on the jacket then, I don't mind to wear...

Now very obvious that I look like Rachel photo.

Mummy: Not really... u still look like handsome boy! Take this jacket along... and if u

miss jie jie you can wear this jacket.

Wilson: Since I have 2 baby pillows then, I shall take one and leave another one here for Rachel jie jie...

Mummy: Okay, but I think mummy will hug your pillow instead of her... Miss you!

Goodbye Wilson...

I have just send my parents to take a bus together with my son, Wilson. They are going to Penang for few days vacation. Yes, at least he won't get the noisy sound and dirt from the kitchen renovation.

I wave goodbye to him and whisper into his ears and ask him to become good boy when reach Penang. He will be sleeping at kow fu's apartment inside daddy's room.

He kiss my cheeck. I can feel he already understand what I told him. But he is like holding his tears and quickly turn back to his grandpa shoulder. I told him that go vacation must be cheerful and happy.

Mummy can't join him this time. Rachel has to go to kindergarten. So next time we will make a trip together. Yes, we are looking forward for our family trip to Cameron Highlands next month, April. There is a public holiday in April.

Kitchen Renovation

I'm off today (Wednesday)... really think of going shopping with my friends. I didn't have the chance to meet them during CNY.

Aiya, I have to take care of my house. There is people coming this early morning to do kitchen renovation for me. So have to stand by at home. Estimation it will take at least 5 days to complete. So lucky tomorrow is a public holiday and I can save 1 off day. On Friday, I will have to take 1 off day for the next billing. I have to wait for hubby to come home from S'pore this Friday night. He will stand by on Saturday and I will go back to work. But at least I have freedom going out eventhough is going to work.

Maybe you will know why I want to go back to work after become "Si Lai" for 3 years+. I can't wait for our salary day this coming 26. Why? It is "BONUS" again and this time together with our increment. So it is better to update my bank book cos if wait for our pay slip will take another 3 weeks.

I'm proud to get back to work now and getting more confidence by support of family members, friends, and the most important my colleagues.

Lost and Found

So where did Rachel put her baby bolster? We have seek every places... Finally, I found it inside the TV cabinet which she push it nicely and cannot be see by once glance. Whoosh... I told her no more hide and seek...

Mummy get tired...!

Hide and Seek

Rachel has lost her baby bolster. I saw her bring it back from hubby's car when I pick her up from daycare centre. She didn't take her baby bolster to daycare centre. If not her friends will laugh and shame at her. She always take it along in the morning and put it inside the car.

But where did she hide or put her baby bolster until she can't find it during night time?! We went to music class at night but she didn't bring it along cos I gave her one sweet and she hold it tightly.

No choice that she has to go to sleep without one baby bolster. But before she fall asleep she ask me to help her to find it. Rachel has 2 baby bolsters... so missing one still okay cos she has another one... but for her missing one baby bolster is a "Big News".

Where did she put it? I will update it later on...

No Shoes to Kindergarten

I work half day today and also this morning very excited able to drive hubby's Vios car to work. My dad will send my car for service and I don't want him to rush and pick me up at 1pm. So this morning I have send Rachel to daycare centre on my way to work.

My mum took her down with her school bag and travel bag (with her school uniform and towel). But we have a big mistake... Oh no...! We forgotten to take her school shoes.

When I came home after work, I have take away a packet of laksa noodle for my mum. As usual I'm still excited to drive hubby's car. We enjoy our food at home while Wilson is watching Mickey Mouse Club House on Astro.

I suddenly think of Rachel... cos she remind me to pick her up at daycare in the evening using "Daddy's Car". Maybe she also enjoy sitting this car. I'm very surprised that she know I work half day today.

When it pops up into my mind we didn't give her the school shoes I quickly call up the daycare centre. It was already 2pm. The class begin at 1pm. She told me is okay cos she has already inform her class teacher that "Mummy forget to give her school shoes to daycare centre this morning". She also know that I forgotten about it. Yes, today is the first day of school after one week holidays.
