Price Increase by Gold Vision Cake Confectionary

I bought some bread for dinner tonight since my mother and I decide to have light dinner. I went to the Gold Vision Cake Confectionary with "Shopping Queen" who is also my colleague. She wanted to order a cake for her friend whose birthday this coming Friday. The sales person told us that effective 1st Nov 2007 the bread and cake price will increase since the government has announced the price increase for flour. So "Shopping Queen" is very lucky to get the old price since she place her order today. That mean tomorrow is 31st October which is the last day. They allow us to order the cake with old price tomorrow and take it on Christmas day. I'm thinking of another "Pocoyo Cake" again. I told hubby regarding this news but he ask me to book for everybody include my parents, my children, my brothers, himself and myself for next year birthday. He make me feel mad and how to ask them... I knew he will always use this sentence "Customer is always right". Since he is a professional purchasing manager so he should give them a call... not me! But I know he will said that he buy raw material only for the factory and not this type of thing. I work as customer service only and I know that "Customer is NOT always right".

Art Work - A Swan & A Cow

Rachel went to nursery happily this week since Monday. We do not know why she is happy and like to go to the nursery now. We have been facing problem lately she will cry, no cooperation, give excuses not to go to nursery and refused to leave the house early the morning (my previous post). I guess maybe due to we attended her nursery's Deepavali lunch last Saturday make her feel happy. She is very proud that daddy, po po, Wilson and myself attended the Deepavali lunch. It started at 11am. She went together with us at 11am and skip morning session which is outdoor

activity. At that time she is still refusing to go to the nursery and keep crying. I took my lunch early and only can join for 1 hour. Anyway I'm happy the impact that she received from us and turn so positive. All teachers praised her yesterday. So I have to give her more support to her. She received a new toy that is a mini medical set since she perform well at the nursery. Praise to the Lord who answer our prayer.

New Toy - Mini Medical Set

My mother took Wilson go to Tesco after dropping Rachel off to nursery. Her intention is to buy Dutch Lady's yogurt drink. But when I came home after work she told me that she managed to buy the doctor medical kit set for Rachel. We realised that Rachel like to play a role as a doctor lately. She will take the milk powder scoop and pretend it as the stethoscope and put onto Wilson's heart and body. Finally she get the set today.

I Have Pocoyo Cap

I bought this cap for Wilson for quite some time which I had almost forgotten. At that time he was a baby. I kept until now and he can finally wear it. It has only one size that's why no choice have to keep it for about half a year I guess. Since my kids always talk about 'Pocoyo' cap so what a big coincidence that this cap look like Pocoyo's cap.

Visit to New McD

We went to new McD drive-thru near Tesco and Jusco. It is located next to the Petronas station. I think it was just open for a week. The environment is not as good as the McD drive-thru near the bus terminal. This McD arrangement of tables and chairs are very narrow. We thought of going to this new McD to check out of the new playroom but the slide is too short and the room is too small. We met on of out ex-colleague over there. He told us that he has line up for so long to get his order. My hubby just add his menu on his friend's queue. So we get our meal pretty fast. His son is not interested with the slide cos not much fun and not interesting. Whoosh he is choosy. Not like my Rachel and Wilson who will play as long as they are in McD. He also suggested us to visit the McD located at town centre (1st McD) which has bigger space and slide. So we have to put this into our list.

Wilson's New Shoe

We just bought Wilson a pair of new shoe. His feet is getting bigger and his previous shoe is getting smaller. This shoe has blue and red light when ever he walk. Whoosh he like it so much and he can stand up perfectly. I have also get a video shot on him.

Mickey Mouse Club House's Stationary

Both my children love Disney's characters. We bought stationary printed with characters of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Pluto. Rachel can recognised all characters but Wilson will only can say out Mickey at this moment. We really hope this will encourage Rachel to go to school next time.

Wilson Dance Happily

I should download this video clip instead of the previous one. This is Wilson dancing video with super energetic dance. Is he good? Nobody teach him to do such dance. We are not very sure where he learn from but anyway he is enjoying himself.

Baby Dance

Wilson is going to be 16 mths by end of this month. Shall I call him baby or toddler which I'm not very sure. But the sad thing is he doesn't walk yet only crawling. The happy thing is he is standing without holding to anything. Indeed he also can stand by himself and putting his hand on the floor to balance up himself. This video capture his dancing moment. However, he didn't dance with his body but instead his head.

I Love Kit Kat

All kids love to eat chocolate especially those 3 yrs+ like Rachel. I gave her Kit Kat. I open it and break it according to the line breaker and control her. If not she can eat the whole peace of Kit Kat. OMG the Kit Kat chocolate melt on her fingers and hand. See her mouth and face are full with chocolate. I snap photos first before cleaning her up.

Do I look pretty?

This morning Rachel wake up early. So we have extra time. Then, po po tie her hair with strawberry hair clips. She is posting in front of our LCD TV watching her favourite 'Pocoyo' show. The flash block 'Pocoyo' face. Then, when I wanted to take another photo she is not cooperative with me. If not I can surely take her photo with 'Pocoyo'.

A Flower

Rachel is so happy tonight showing of her flower being done at nursery. She wants to cheer 'Flower, Flower, Flower' but I didn't take a video on her. She can colour more nicely and she is practising every night after eating her dessert ice-cream. My mother and I noticed that she start to gain back her weight and look chubby. She always wish that when daddy come home she wants to go McD drive-thru where she can play the slide. I'm really scared if she mix around with other children where she might get any more virus again. Every time after going there she will either get flu or cough and the worst case is diarrhea virus. Actually we have an indoor slide at home but she think that playing at McD is much more fun.

Seal With A Kiss

Wilson can kiss po po and myself very well. He will only kiss to our lips. He will kiss gently and with a sound 'pop'. This video is taken when po po ask him to kiss her. Okay this time I hold the camera but when hubby come home I want to take one kiss video with Wilson. Now I only able to hold the camera.

2 Scoop Ice-Cream Please

I bought a big box of ice-cream from Kings 1.5L with Raspberry flavour for Rachel. Then, when she requested for ice-cream I just scoop up with the special spoon. She wanted 2 scoops. Yummy ice-cream for her. She like to eat ice-cream after her dinner.

Astro Fan

Rachel is holding Astro big hand. This time I managed to video it. She looks cute. Of course po po is teaching her to call out "Astro, Astro, Astro". Also not forgotten her Mickey t-shirt. She insist to wear this t-shirt this morning even po po ask her to wear dress cos daddy and mummy will take her out for lunch and shopping.

We Love Pooh Bear

Wilson miss his Pooh bear so much. He wants to be hug and carry by his daddy and at the same time he wants to carry his Pooh bear. He love to watch Pooh bear every weekend on Ch613 from Astro. I almost forgotten that Rachel love Pooh bear too. This photo is snap by daddy. I didn't realise it until I on the camera. So add her photo too.

Charming Guy from TVB

TVB most charming guy is him with his speech compare to the other one. Most of the people like him yesterday night.

Astro Big Hand

We managed to get this big hand banner from Astro at the end of the show. There are some people forgotten to take it and put on the floor. I just take it since nobody want it. I just get 2 for Rachel and Wilson. I show Rachel with this big hand to sing the song "Where is thumbkin, pointer, tall man, ring man, pinky?" I sang this song when I was in kindergarten age.

We are TVB fans

We have to stand for more that 1 1/2 hours just to see TVB actors and actress life at Kinta City. Anyway we enjoy ourselves. I met my colleague which is my blog friend too. She went with her Nicholas Teo fans club member. We are all busy taking photos. I think she get more photos than me cos she get better view I guess.

My Friends Tigger & Pooh

We went to Jusco this late evening after I finish my work at 6pm. When we reach Jusco we try to find shelter car park cos heavy rain. Finally we are lucky to get it. We went for our dinner early cos we want to get good view to see astro life. When we reached the place both Rachel and Wilson are busy taking photos with Tigger & Pooh Bear.

Who Am I?

My youngest brother just send me an e-mail with title "me in action". I ask both Rachel and Wilson whether they can recognise who is that but.... they can't guess it until I give them a clue. Also, I quickly ask my mother to look at his photo. We are wondering why work in MIS department also need to wear doctor uniform or perhaps surgeon uniform? We knew he is working in the hospital but why you have to wear like this?

Farewell Lunch

Today we have a farewell lunch for one of our senior colleague. We have Malay food since Hari Raya just passed. We have ketupat, lemang, beef rendang, bihun goreng, agar-agar, cookies and drinks. Look delicious and yummy. It taste very good! The beef rendang is the special dish and it is the best I have ever taste. It was cooked by one of my colleague's wife. She is a very good cook. He is so kind to let me take away (ta-pao) to allow my hubby and my mother to taste it. Both of them like it very much. We give her 100%. If we plan to have a party in future we shall hire her to cook some dishes. He told me his wife can cook all sorts of curry... sounds good but we want to taste it first.

A Snail

Even Rachel don't feel like going to nursery every morning but we keep on advise her to go there and learn more about colouring. She like colouring the most. She show this snail to me tonight. Since she like to cry this time she has to sit with the principal the whole day. She will not cry out loud but tears rolling from her face. This is the info my mother hear from the assistance teacher which Rachel like her the most.
Today the assistance teacher was told not too take care of Rachel since she is going to pull out end Nov. The principal told her to take care of other kids instead. She told my mother secretly this morning. Frankly speaking this sound like money making only. I was unaware that nowadays popular nursery is just target on $$$ only and don't care about others. I was being told by my mother this morning. I can't concentrate on my job but luckily I have a close blog friend who is my colleague to chat with me and make me think positive after a short chat. Whoosh I have to quickly clear up my mind and concentrate and can't be moody and emotional cos it will affect my performance at work.
Thank God that the assistance teacher told my mother secretly during afternoon that she will take care of Rachel and ask her not to be so worry. She told my mother that the principal is bad mood today after listening to phone call. Wait for my next update where I shall blast of her secret...@#%!

Up and Down

Tonight after dinner as usual I will chit chat with my mother. Now our hot topics on Rachel at nursery. Suddenly, Wilson make us laugh to see he is doing exercise. This time he is doing up and down.

Hhmm, the cake taste good. I was so happy to received home make cake from my colleague who is my blogger friend now Nicholas Teo super fan.

Goodbye Montessori Nursery

Finally, this afternoon during lunch hour I make a phone call to the nursery to inform that we are giving 1 mth notice. Rachel is going to pull out from nursery end Nov. This notice is more than 1 mth. If you read from my previous blog, you will feel surprise why Rachel didn't do any colouring work last week. After she was sick and return back to nursery everything turn up badly. She can't control her tears. She will cry whenever going there or doing her work. Then, she find difficult to cooperate. As a result the teachers will send her to rest room to sleep. Last week she sleep everyday in the rest room. I feel unhappy cos I'm paying for the fees and she ended up sleeping in the rest room. I received complaints too that she will give lots of excuse like sleepy, stomach pain, hungry, thirsty and tired. Also, distract other kids with her crying voice. I do feel frustrated cos they can't handle her well. More and more kids being enrol but I don't think the 3 teachers are enough to handle these kids. If they keep on focus on new kids and neglect existing kids sooner they will loose them too. Furthermore, one of the existing teacher is going to resign end of this month. So they are hiring a new teacher so not sure she is good or have experience to handle them. Feel lack of confidence already.
So on Tuesday, my mother accompany her and she chit-chat with another kid's mother in the rest room who mention that the principal mood is not so good this 2 weeks. She saw them asking Rachel to sleep in the rest room last week for few days. Sometimes is good to have feedback from other mothers cos we are not there everyday. That's why Rachel always come home and say she is scared to go to school. Other parents comment that she might be afraid to go to school next time if we push her too much. Is this true?
My working schedule is very tight before and after Raya. I can't take leave or off day to accompany her. So I decide to let her stop end Nov rather than end Dec. Actually I have enrol her to Ave Maria Kindergarten next year. I enrol her early this year after Chinese New Year. So let her have a rest in Dec. I'm not very sure whether I will change my mind or not. This Saturday, my mother and hubby will accompany her to Kinder music for trial class. Hope she will enjoy the class and like it too. Since it is free Wilson will join in the class for those under 18 mths.

Flower for mummy & po po

Rachel colour a pink flower for myself and po po today. Looks beautiful... right? She can colour very fast now. The teachers feel surprise. She tell them that she has colouring book and colour pencils at home. She will do her colouring everyday including weekends. Now they know why she has good improvement. The more she practise the better she can do it! Good job to hubby who accompany her last weekend.

Wilson : Again... I take off my long pants myself. But can mummy or po po pls tell me what is this? The one I'm pointing with my finger... Eh, there is a small hole on my tummy... Nieh can u see it?

Good Improvement

After so many practise colouring with daddy, now Rachel improve her colour work at nursery. So, next time when daddy come home she is waiting for you to do colouring with her... Hahaha! Mummy get more freedom...

Rachel Miss U... Daddy

Rachel enjoyed doing colouring with her daddy yesterday night. She knew that daddy seldom around especially on Sunday night. So she super glue to her daddy and insist to go to bed late cos she want to finish her colouring first.

Wilson Play Yoga

There is a favourite series movie of my mother and myself. That is Jewel of the Palace (Tai Cheong Kam) a Korean movie being repeated from Astro again. So in order to get everyone's attention, Wilson is doing yoga. See the video taken by hubby who didn't follow much on the series movie.

Dresses from Poney

Rachel is very lucky to have new dresses again. This time I get both of them from the brand Poney. We all went to shop at Jusco. When I saw these dresses, I quickly ask my mother to help to choose the size for Rachel. My mother manage to find size 4-5 years old cos not many size left. Each dress cost RM89.90 and now since Hari Raya is just around the corner they are selling with 70% discount. OMG, I insist to buy 2 sets for her. At that time my stomach is not feeling well cos starting to have diarrhea but insist of going shopping first before going to have medication. Look very kiasu with shopping... However, is a very good buy!

Raya's Green Pow

We have Muslim relative too. So during Hari Raya we shall gather at one place. My children will also get Raya green packet which contain money $ inside which Chinese people call it Ang Pow during Chinese New Year. My aunt in the photo is my mother's sister. She has 2 children but her daughter didn't come to Ipoh this year cos she went to her in-law place at Terengganu. This is the 1st time my son let them carry him. So quickly my hubby snap photo for them. Rachel is so happy holding green pow with her smiling face.

Lunch at Sushi King

Today is 2nd day of Hari Raya. Hubby and I decided to go to Sushi King for lunch. However, Rachel has follow kow fu and po po out this morning so she didn't join us for lunch. This is the 1st time Wilson eat sushi rice. Last time when we came here, he was not yet 1 year old so we didn't let him eat. So this time he try to eat and like the taste of the rice. I let him feed by himself using his fingers. Then, his hand become sticky and he rub his hands to get rid of the rice from sticking to his fingers. He looks so cute! See his face also stick with rice... 'leave for his girl friend to eat' in Chinese proverb.

Fun Time at McD

This is movie was taken on 22 Sept 2007 just a day before my kids get virus with diarrhea and vomit. Both of them look chubby. Anyway, it was a fun time for them at McDonald's drive-thru.

Shopping Raya's Eve

We went to Jusco tonight after dinner. But tonight we went after 9pm and by the time we reached and able to park the car is almost 9.30pm. On our way walking down the escalator there is a special announcement. Opss... 'We're are closing at 10pm tonight'. So we only have half an hour shopping. We know the sales is going to over today. We look for what we want and buy if we really like it. Rachel get a pair of beautiful shoe. She said this is Daisy's dancing shoe. As for myself, I get a pair of shoe too. So what about Wilson? I decided to buy him Mickey Mouse T-shirt since he like it so much. Blue and yellow colour is for him while another set is for Rachel. I'm afraid that Rachel might get jealous. After all is worth buying cos the quality is good and it is from Disney. Everyone seems happy tonight.

Mt Jade / Yu-Shan Moon Cake from Taiwan

This year we have the chance to eat moon cake from Taiwan. My brother, Wayne give it to my mother and children. Surprisingly Rachel like to eat moon cake cos it taste sweet. Beside buying local moon cake, we also able to eat moon cake from Hong Kong. As for my mother she will prefer eating nuts moon cake cos she say can chew some mix nuts in the moon cake.

Sau To Pao Pao

Today is the 1st day of 9 month of Chinese calendar. So they will celebrate the 9th God festival. In front of the Too Boo Kung temple there are many stalls selling sau to pao. Many Chinese people who really pray have to eat vegetarian. This festival is for 9 days only. My family didn't celebrate or pray cos we are all Christian and Catholic. So we just buy to eat only. Now, I forgotten to take some pictures to during moon cake festival. I shall take some photos of "FOOD" and create another label.

Excuse, excuse - Lazy girl @#!

I was so shock "???!!!" when my mother told me that Rachel didn't go to nursery this morning. This Friday the nursery is off but today is just Thursday... so what's wrong??!! I called my mother this evening and she told me that when she reached nursery this morning all children are playing outdoor. Oh dear, my girl is wearing a dress so no way she can play outdoor. The teachers didn't inform us that it suppose to be outdoor today. Even though she has a pair of sport shoe but she doesn't wearing pants. So finally my mother take her to grandpa house for a change. She managed to find them for her and want to give her a change. Rachel told my mother with terrible tears that she doesn't want to go to nursery today. She even tell po po that she is tired and sleepy. OMG, really didn't believe that she is giving such excuse. So no choice my mother have to listen to her and furthermore the weather is cloudy and is going to rain. But luckily didn't go cos it rain heavily at 10am. I'm thinking what's going on with my girl... how to overcome this big problem??! Ugh not easy to become a mother...!!

Busy blogging... What happen to Wilson?

I was busy blogging while Wilson is watching his favourite Barney in his playpen. When my mother came out from the room she saw Wilson is not wearing his long pants again. OMG... this is not the 1st time Wilson can take of his long pants especially when nobody notice him. I quickly pause blogging and quickly take the camera to take a few shot. Look at his smiling face... I can read from his face that his photos can appear in this blog. Tonight he has more photos than jie jie.
