Spending money

Wow, is a happy shopping spree day after 26th every month. Salary day! We went shopping during lunch hour. It is convenient since our office surrounding by many boutiques. Shopping in groups are fun! We can exchange ideas & opinions. After work, my good friend bring me a new place to shop. I am very happy to get what I want in terms of design, quality, limited quantity, & good price. We dislike getting the same clothes with others at office. Aarrgghhh.., not uniform!

Of course it is not easy to get such good friend. Yippee, she just joined our company and there is many salary day to come. We don't talk much about gossip but we prefer to spend wisely what we earn.

Colouring work

Today, Rachel give good performance at nursery. She didn't cry and wee wee on the floor. Hhmm, getting improvement! She colour a tree. When I reached home after work, she quickly show it to me. I ask her is this an apple tree? But she says no! So, what tree type is this? There are hearts not apples. Looks like this tree belongs to barney's and friends.

Play time

I have to accompany Wilson to sit seesaw. At that time Rachel was playing water at children's pool. We are so happy to play at playground.

Posting with daddy

My little boy, Wilson is very clever in tempting people's heart. Whenever he see other people he will give a small smile and wait for them to notice him. When they notice him, Wilson will give a big big smile. If they praise him like he is cute, like to smile, handsome and etc, he will laugh. There is a secret too. He like to do this especially to female. Oh dear, he is so young and know how to melt and temp females heart. Is it true that he will have many girl friends in the future?

Rachel's art work

Rachel is very proud to inform her daddy & grandpa that she did not cry at nursery today. She ask me for her present refer to sweets. She is rewarded by sweets, cornflakes & white chocolate. The colouring is being improved. Previously she only like orange colour, but now she will try for other colours. I'm worry that she still need po po & Wilson to accompany her. I really hope she will get independent soon. But the teachers will ask my mother & Wilson stay inside a room where they keep books and toys. They do not allow Rachel to go inside the room unless when necessary. As for my little boy, Wilson, of course he is very happy to follow his jie jie to go to nursery. My mother told me that, the teacher always welcome Wilson, give him big kiss and hugs this morning. Wilson will always smile and laugh. He is a happy going little boy. If he can walk by himself, they are going to accept him.

Rachel at nursery

Today when she reached nursery, she started to cry softly. Asking po po to take her to grandpa house. She stick to po po like super glue. Not only that, she asked po po to carry her. Pitty my mother cos she is carrying Wilson. The assistance teacher try to distract her. Let her begin with montessori work early. After breakfast she is back to normal. They said she act like this due to Saturday and Sunday were off. That is why she does not want to go to nursery today. However, I'm very impressed with her colouring work. My mother told me once she reached home she show off her work to her fish call "Dorothy" in a mini aquarium. She named her fish "Dorothy" after the show Elmo's world.

Food time

Wilson like to say "mam, mam". This is the favourite word he like to say which mean "Food". His po po is feeding him half boil egg. He is busy eating his delicious food but I call him to look at my camera so mummy can take a good snap on him. Hhhmmm... is delicious.

Self feeding

We are happy to know that Rachel can feed herself sitting on her high chair. She told the teachers last Friday that her daddy is coming home and he will bring her shopping. I have to write shopping list and she will tell me what she wants to buy. Of course her favourite chicken ham & yakult drink. We also bought her potato wedges. It is very convenient to shop at Jusco. We can get everything under one roof. She gives me a happy smile after her dinner. She can eats all her favourite food in one day. She is busy eating and watching her cartoons at Ch63.

Horrible news on Sunday morning

OMG... we received a heart breaking news early Sunday morning. My aunt rang my house phone to inform that my cousin met an accident early morning (reported by police around 5am) and admitted to GH at emergency ward. She told us the Doctor said his condition is no good. My mother and hubby went to visit while I'm at home to take care of my kids. He was on his way home after work extra hours. According to police the accident place was at Kampar road near The Store supermarket. Someone passed by the road called GH and asked for the ambulance when they saw a motorcycle lying on the road while a young man lying not far away. They said when the ambulance arrived and on the way sending my cousin to the emergency ward he still can talk and inform medical assistance and police that the road was slippery and he fell down. When my mother & hubby reached GH, my aunt, cousins, and other relatives were sitting in front of the emergency ward. They said he had an internal bleeding after the hospital had given him 8 pkts of blood. In the afternoon, he was sent to ICU. Now we are all praying that he is strong enough to overcome it.
Actually today is the 14th day of 7mth for Chinese calendar. This day we called it as ghost festival day. Normally 3days before this day we can see people praying and burning at the road side or in front of their house. It is common where Chinese people believed to pray and burn some clothes & money to those spirit so they won't disturb their family members.
The news really make my family members to recall back previous accident happened to my brother twice when he drove on a motorcycle. My parents sold off the vehicle after he had recovered from his ankle fractured being cement.

Hair cut

This Saturday I'm off so we decided to give Wilson a hair cut. Actually I didn't get all Saturday off cos we have to take turns and it all depend toward our dept as long it can run smoothly to have ppl there. Aaahaa! We didn't send him to any place for his hair cut. But we have it done at home. See super VIP hair salon at home. Of course I'll be supervising only. My mother is the one to cut his hair. Wilson will listen to his po po to sit properly and not to move his head. If not the outcome will not be handsome boy! Hurray! What a beautiful hair cut for Wilson! A big thank you to po po. He is very proud with his new hairstyle and after his bubble bath he said "Let's go kai kai". We went to both our favourite places i.e. Tesco & Jusco. Tonite most probably going to Parkson. See mummy can't sit at home when she is off. Actually we prefer to do our shopping on Saturday and hubby can rest on Sunday before he can travel back to Penang to work on Monday.

Rachel 7th day @ Nursery

She is very happy and proud to inform everyone that she didn't cry at all at the nursery. But pitty po po & Wilson staying at a room. When the teacher say toilet time, she is very happy to say "hi" to them. The teacher is very friendly. She always provide a small mattress for Wilson. Also, she will ask whether he want to eat during breakfast and lunch. She even ask my mother if she is hungry. I know she love Wilson. If he can walk she will accept him as her student. Eventhough in the form written child age at least 21/2 year old but sometimes she will accept smaller age depends on the child character. I'm happy to hear that. But pitty to my hubby cos need to pay extra cost. Hahaha! Clever teacher want to make business. Each student cost RM250. That's why is very expensive to raise up a child.

Rachel can do very well colouring. Indeed the teacher notice she love colours and can differentiate all the colours very well. See her happy face holding her work. Of course she is so happy cos daddy take the photo for her.

Dinner @ Movenpeak steamboat

We have steamboat buffet dinner with my aunt and cousin who came home from London for summer holidays. This is the 1st time they meet my son, Wilson. Previously when they came home I was pregnant at that time was 5mths. When I delivered Wilson they are not here and I didn't post any photo to them. But this time they are not only able to see him but can hug & kiss him. My children call my cousin, aunt Natalie (piew yee yee). While my aunt become their grand aunty (ku po). Wow, what a big generation. If my grandmother is still with us, my children will called her great grandmother (tai po). When they came home previously was to attend my grandmother funeral. At that time Rachel was 19mths and I was 5mths pregnant. We miss her a lot though she is no longer with us.

Rachel 6th day @ Nursery

What a big good news and surprise to me! My mother told me that Rachel improved a lot at nursery. She didn't cry. This news also make the teacher happy. If she cried it will disturb and make certain kids cry cos she cried out loud. Actually my mother told me that this morning they say a short prayer in the car and everyone say "AMEN" before go into the nursery. Thank you God who answered our prayer. We can see improvement on her. Pls guide and lead her the way. Praise the lord!

When her mood is okay, she can concentrate and enjoy her colouring at her best level. Hoorray!

McD dinner delivery

My mother had informed me all about Rachel bad day at nursery. I think of a method how to make her happy and have confidence to go to nursery without all the -ve thinking. Since my mother said not enough time to cook dinner, I think of McD delivery. Quickly I ask my colleague for the contact no. and catalogue. We love healthy food. So I order chicken Mc foldover for adults and regular french fries for Rachel. The delivery reached before I reached home. So, my mother open the door to take the delivery and pay on my behalf. When I reached home, she is enjoying on the fries and ketchup. I told her a story about McD. Only happy and good children can get special delivery by McD. So, in the future if she want McD surprise on the door step she has to go to nursery without crying. This method really work!

Rachel 5th day @ Nursery

Rachel go to nursery with grandmother (po po) & Wilson. What a bad day for her! I didn't accompany her. She is not only crying as usual but she wee wee for 3 times. Lastly they put her on with drypants. She also inform teacher that her stomach pain. So, the teacher ask my mother what's wrong if she said stomach pain. Actually she wanted to go to toilet for pooh pooh. Luckily she manage to inform them. All the crying make a dull day for her. Her colouring work is not well too. My mother always update me on her progress. The only happy moment is she is the first one to say "Goodbye friends!"

Menu @ Nursery

Surprise to hear Rachel tell the teacher "I want to add some more noodles and soup". She told the teacher today "Hhhmmm good!" The nursery have 2 sets of menu listed being pasted on the wall in the kitchen. When I saw today's menu, I realise is Rachel's favourite meal. It is spiral macroni with chicken soup. She love to eat noodle (all variety) and drink soup. I can use this point to encourage her to go to school beside having new friends, playing montesori work and colouring.

Rachel 4th day @ Nursery

Today when we reached the nursery, Rachel said NO I don't want to go to school. She started to cry when she reached there. But the assistant teacher distract her and when she is concentrate at her work given, I leave the place. My mother & Wilson waited for me near the tree house at the compound. The nursery start at 9am. Around 10am, I went to check her condition. They told me she is fine but vommit when she cried when I leave the place. They have changed her clothings. However, she can continue with her work. I went home to my dad's house and returned to the nursery at 11.30am with my mother & Wilson. We are the first group to reach the place waiting for her to finish her work then, have her lunch & brush teeth before she can follow us home. She show me her colouring work. Her favourite colour at this time is orange. I'm very happy to hear that she is improving everyday.

Sucking thumb

Wilson is now going to be 14mths. But he is still sucking his thumb. I just took his picture to post it here so next time he can view it himself. Eeekkk... why mummy snap my photo?

Rachel 3rd day @ Nursery

Today is Rachel 3rd day at nursery. I took half day off in the morning to accompany her. I drop her at nursery 1st and send my mother & Wilson to my dad's house @ Iph Gdn area. Then, I went to CIMB to do banking. When I reached the nursery, my hubby called my hp. So we chat for a short period. After chatting, I went into the nursery. Rachel started crying when she saw me. I kept my promise to buy her sweets. I gave it to her to calm her down.Today is far better than last week.

She do colouring using crayon. Not forget she will ask me to take a photo of it and post it into this blog so that daddy and her 2 kow fu (uncle) in Penang can see her work. I'll try bringing my camera to her nursery to take more photos.

Play at polo ground

We are having our fun time at the play ground. My kids are so happy and enjoy themselves. This is their 1st time at this place. They have to learn sharing the slide with other kids. Everyone pls line up and wait for their turn.Little Wilson is playing a different type of slide. Hurry up kids... it's about to rain. Look at my little boy's hand! Eeeekk, rain drop falling onto my head. Don't worry I can shelter my head with my hand. Can't we just stay a little bit longer.

Big present

Finally our new Toshiba 37" LCD has arrived. This is the latest model lauched in June 2007. Since this year is our national (Merdeka 50 years) this shop is selling a big discount on it. After discout cost at RM3999.00 only. It has discounted RM1100.00 from the actual price. What a great buy!
The discount was over. The shipment of the parts arrived from Japan on Sunday and it arrived at the shop in Ipoh yesterday. Wow, we finally get it today. We have been waiting for it for 2 weeks.
My kids are so happy. Is like a big present for both of them. Both of them now want to watch barney, mickey, and not forget their CH 63 in astro.

Drypants

Wilson: Mum, I like wearing drypants than diapers... I don't have to worry and it is very comfortable. Yipee..!

Outdoor game

The good point living in a condo is a private swimming pool. They enjoy themselves without sharing with many people. My kids just love playing with water.

Rachel 2nd day @ Nursery

I'm working on Fri 17/8/07. My mother accompany Rachel to school. Every Friday is an outdoor for children. She was so happy when she arrived as usual teacher will ask her to put down her school bag at the correct place and let them go and play. They play slide, swing & play near the tree house.

My mother (Rachel called her po po) carry Wilson walking around the compound. When she didn't see them, she wanted to cry. Then, she ask the assistance teacher to find where are po po and Wilson. Finally, she found them at the garden. She ask po po to sit down and don't walk around. Wait for her finish playing with other kids.

After lunch, they went home happily. At this moment she likes going to school but with someone accompany her. The teacher allow parents or guardian to accompany for 1 week only.

Rachel pls be more independent like other children! Mummy & po po can't accompany you for too long period. You have to make new friends.

Rachel 1st day @ Nursery

Last Thurday 16/8/07 I was not working. I decide to send Rachel to nursery and accompany her. Everything is well planned but my dad has a last minute called to attend a seminar in Nilai. So he has to take a but at 10.30am. Meanwhile Rachel school start at 9.00am

So my dad drop us of at nursery and went home to pack his things. I went off with my dad after
accompany Rachel for more than an hour. Drop my dad at bus station and went home to pick up
my mum and my son, Wilson. On our way back to the nursery, the teacher rang me up cos Rachel
started to cry :-(

We rush to the nursery, when I opened the door she call mummy! Where is mummy? She started to cry again. But I managed to ask her to stop cos it will distract other kids to learn. Then, one of the assistance teacher try to bring her over to play puzzle and distract her.
Luckily she is alright!

After she has luch we went home together. But she ask me to sit at one corner. While she was busy with her hands playing puzzle, she will see & check whether I'm still sitting there or not.
